Tips on recycling

   Tips on recycling
Recycling is a great way to be green. Recycling saves energy, and natural resources such as, timber, water, and minerals. Also recycling reduces the need for land filling, and burning garbage. Almost any thing at your home, school, office, etc. if you can’t reduce it, it can be recycled. Waste that cannot be recycled in some form, it finds its way to disposal. They use this waste to generate electricity.
The U.S. Environmental protection Agency estimates that each American generated 4.3 pounds of waste daily in 2009. Recycling is an excellent way to keep the environment clean, and healthy. Also recycling is easy and fun to do. You don’t just have to recycle; you can reuse and reduce things. If you really put your mind to it, it might be fun.
A great way to recycle is to clean up trash around your neighborhood and recycle it. Instead of throwing stuff you don’t want any more, you can reuse it, and turn it into something new. For example, if you have any empty glass bottles, you could turn them into flower vases. If your mom, or dad complains about how the power bill is too high, just simple start turning the light off once you l leave a room, or that nobody is in. You don’t just have to recycle glass, paper, and cans there are plenty of things you can recycle. You can recycle: aluminum, and steel cans, cardboard, electronic equipment (old phones, and computers), glass, magazines, metal, news-paper, yard waste (leaves, and grass), plastic bags, and plastic bottles. If we can remember these simple tips, and ideas, and keep at it, one day we could change the world.
