Healthy Eating

                              Healthy Eating

Everyone wants to be the thinnest.  Everyone wants to have the best body, skinniest waste or the tightest stomach.  Its true.  These days people are willing to do anything to have the new fad body.  A lot of teenagers go to extremes to have that body, such as stop eating which could even lead to eating disorders that could do the total opposite of what you were hoping for.

I think a good way to move toward that goal is to start by eating more healthy.  When I say “healthy” I mean more fruits less chips, more vegetables less  ice cream and less sodas and more water.  Water is one of the main ingredients to a healthier body.  Of course exercising helps greatly but if you don’t want to start there, focus on your eating habits.  It has been said that sodas are the worst things to drink when trying to become healthier.  If you replace sodas with large amounts of water, you are good to go!

like I said earlier, some teens are so desperate to have that “perfect body” they will to dangerous and risky extremes.  To keep from going to far, here are some helpful tips.

·      Don’t skip any meals
·      Every single breakfast lunch and dinner is necessary all the time. They give you energy to get through the day with no trouble.
·      Eat less sugar
·      Sugar can always contribute to being overweight, or unhealthy.  Reducing sugar intake will lower your weight.
·      Drink lots of fluids (that doesn’t mean Koolaid!)
·      Drinking lots of fluids would be one of the healthiest things you can do to maintain a healthy body.
·      Never eat while distracted.
·      Eating while doing something else could lead to eating uncontrollably and forgetting how much you have taken in.

Healthy eating habits are very important no matter what age you might be.
